Who we are.

Kind Folk Farms, run by Husband and Wife; Emily and Ed is a regenerative cattle property located an hour northwest of Gympie. Nestled in a serene valley, we are dedicated to cultivating a space that fosters a deep connection with nature while prioritising sustainable practices.

The founder of Kind Folk Farms, Emily, is a practicing visual artist who has cherished this breathtaking landscape as her home. She believes in the importance of stepping away from the distractions of the busy world to focus on what truly matters.

At Kind Folk Farms, we cherish the valley we inhabit and are committed to caring for the land, ensuring it remains more beautiful and vibrant than when we first found it. Through regenerative practices, we work to enhance the health of the soil and ecosystem, creating a sustainable environment for both our cattle and the diverse wildlife that shares our home.We are passionate about raising tasty, tender beef and sharing home-grown food cooked over the campfire. Our mission is to create an experience where guests can embrace a slower, quieter pace, leaving with genuinely memorable moments that resonate long after their stay.

Join us in this tranquil haven, where art, nature, and community come together in harmony.

We offer BYO Horse Trail riding

Imagine riding through quiet bush trails, with your favourite people and/or meeting new friends. A couple of peaceful hours on horseback brings you into camp - where the fire is already lit, dinner is simmering. You'll settle into your own private, beautifully spacious bell tent, with hot showers and toilets provided. It’s an experience built around comfort, calm, and good company.

How it works

You’ll arrive at a designated point on the property, where you can unload your horses and leave your vehicle and float safely parked. From there, ride for a couple of hours into the valley, stopping for a cuppa taking in the scenery, then later arriving at camp. Once settled, enjoy hearty campfire meals, conversation, and the gentle stillness of the valley - all at your own pace.

Yes, I have my own horse to trail ride on
I want to enquire about a group activity not involving horses.
Age Range
Which best suits what experience your interested in...
A lone rider (or duo) happy to join another herd?
A pair who loves meeting new trail buddies?
A small herd wanting a private adventure?
A herd that doesn’t mind teaming up with another?
Is there a possibility I could have an experience, without a four-legged-friend?
